Composition : Each 5 ml contains

Ambroxol Hydrochloride B.P.  15   mg
Salbutamol Sulphate I.P. 1.2 mg
Equivalent to Salbutamol 1 mg
Guaiphenesin I.P. 50 mg
Menthol I.P. 1 mg

Availability : Each  100 ml Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle.

Therapeutic Category : Expectorant for adults and children above 2 years.

Mechanism of action : Ambroxol is a mucolytic and a mucokinetic. Salbutamol is  a bronchodilator. Guaiphenesin is a mucokinetic and expectorant. Menthol is a demulcent.

Adverse Reactions : Unlikely to occur at recommended dose. Some patients may complain of  fine finger tremors, palpitation, gastrointestinal disturbances, fatigue, dry mouth and dysuria.

Dose : 

  • Adult: Two to four teaspoonful three times a day.
  • Children 6 to 12 years: Two teaspoonful three times a day.
