Mechanism of action :
- Tinidazole: Second generation nitroimidazole and is used in the treatment of susceptible protozoal infections and in the treatment and prophylaxis of anaerobic bacterial infections.
- Diloxinide Furoate: Ideal luminal antiamoebic
- Semithicone:Abdominal antiflatulent
Clinical Benefits : Treats amoebiasis and giardiasis
Dosage:
- 3 days course in Giardiasis
- 5 days course in Amoebiasis.
Children below 3 years:1-2 teaspoonfuls
t.i.d. for 3-5 days
Children from 3-6 years: 3-4 teaspoonfuls
t.i.d. for 3-5 days
