Therapeutic category : Mobigel offers effective topical therapy as adjuvant to oral NSAID therapy and substitute to oral NSAID therapy,
e.g. Pregnant ladies, Ulcer patients,etc.
Mode of action :
Diclofenac Sodium :
- Highly effective topically, due to its proven transdermal penetration.
- Potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory action provides prompt relief from musculo-skeletal injury.
- Does not cross placental barrier, hence safe for low back pain during pregnancy.
Methyl Salicylate :
- Methyl Salicylate is rubifacient.
- It irritate the skin and readily absorbed through intact skin.
Menthol :
- Menthol is demulcent.
- Menthol dilates the blood vessels, causing the sensation of coldness followed by an analgesic effect.
