60 ml bottle with a measuring cap.
Therapeutic category : LEMOLINCTUS is antipyretic, analgesic and antiallergic syrup.
Mode of Action : Bromhexine
- Mucolytic and Mucokinetic agent.
- It increases the sputum volume and liquefies mucus.
- It improves the sluggish movements of cilia and try to expel thick mucus from respiratory tract.
- It increases the diffusion of antibacterial drugs.
Phenylephrine :
Paracetamol :
- Effective analgesic and antipyretic drug.
Chlorpheniramine Maleate :
- Less sedating Antihistamine.
Clinical benefits : Relieves sign and symptoms associated with flu
and common cold:
- Runny Nose
- Sneezing
- Nasal Congestion
- Body Ache
- Mild Fever
- Watery Eyes
- Itchy Nose
Dosage :
For 3-5 days.
- Less than 2 years ½ teaspoonful four times a day.
- 2 to 5 years : 1 teaspoonful four times a day.
- 5 to12 years : 2 to 3 teaspoonfuls four times a day.
- Above 12 years : 2 to 4 teaspoonfuls three times a day.
Adverse reactions : No serious adverse reactions are likely to happen
with LEMOLINCTUS. Some patients may feel
- Sedation or Drowsiness.
- Nausea, Vomiting & GI upset may occur.
- Should be given carefully to Hypertensive patient.
LEMOLINCTUS should be given with caution as Bromhexine and Paracetamol can lead to hepatotoxicity in very high doses.
